I already have a transparent protector on upper part of chainstay but now have some scrapes on the outer aspect of the chainstay so I am looking for an allround chainstay protector that will fit on a chainstay that has the gear cable running closely underneath it. I don't want it to foul up gear changing. Any advice. Thanks.

Answer:
If you mean that you have inner gear cable exposed underneath the chain stay, then I have a solution. Change to full length outer cable housing and hold it in place with zip ties or similar, then you can use whatever frame protection you want. Less muck in your cables too!
