Rated 4 out of 5 by Work just fine, fit standardbearings Combining an American BB with a 22mm crank spindle let's you use standard size bearings from industrial bearing suppliers (most other bottom bracket bearings are thinner than any standard bearing), hence I've got a pair of NSK bearings which will replace the bearings in these when they die. These bearings spin really freely compared to the NSKs (which might be a good thing for a BB, but is also probably a sign of loose tolerances or little grease). 13 May 2014

Answer:
Yes; A MID bracket uses a 41mm bearing pressed directly into the frame. A US bracket uses the same 41mm bearing, but pressed into a cup (51mm) and then into the frame.
You can remove the bearings from the cups and use it as a MID bracket, or use the cups for a US bracket.

Do they definitely have US cups included?

Do they Definitely come complete with US bearing cups? The reason I ask is that I purchased a set of 19mm bearings from you (now sold out) that were supposed to have the US bearings cups, (as pictured), but they didn't..

Answer:
Yes, where a BMX bracket is listed as American-Mid or US-Mid then it should include the cups and the bearings. If it is only listed as 'Mid' then it likely doesn't include the cups.
