This crown race is intended for use with the XLII headset; however as both headset use the same Internal Diameter and 36° angular bearings they may very well be compatible.

crown race compadability

Hi,
Just wondering if this crown race would fit into my 2011 demo 8 ii. All i know is that it is FSA and that its 1.5in integrated for 1 1/8in. Steerer with Cartridge Bearings. I cant find anything else out about it.

This crown race is for a Threadless Headset and without knowing the bearing angle it is hard to advise if it will pre-load the bearings correctly.

For advice on what is compatible; please provide a photograph of the numbers/markings on the bearing cartridge to our Technical Department below -

No; this is FSA Crown race H6011, for the Orbit XLII headset only. The IS-2 CC requires FSA Crown Race H6028. You should be able to find this online with a quick search.
