Rated 5 out of 5 by Great work horse Very well made, I am a big rider 103kg so when I stand up on the pedals I want something that can handle the down would power, the BB30 does that.I would highly recommend FSA. 16 November 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by better than their carbon models I had the SLK Carbon version and it would groan and creek after 200kms. Finally swapped it out for a compact Gossamer BB 30 and no problems at all. Pretty bomb proof and very smooth shifting. Don't get hung up on carbon..get something that works and can really perform. 29 November 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Work FSA!!!!!!!!! I have this crank on my Cannondale CAADX and it is the dogs *****ers! Is very responsive, put the pedal down and the power is transfered directly with minimal(if any) flex certainly none that you would notice. Its super smooth run with a 105 front and rear mech 10spd set up. Also, in response to the review about these cranks failing, there were a few of these that had problems when the none drive side crank arm was over tightened beyond recommended torque settings. These earlier units have been recalled and were mainly fitted to bikes at point of sale. The serial/model numbers can be found an the FSA website if you need to check for a duff one! I certainly have no worries with mine, I wouldn't be riding around on it otherwise! Shimano aren't the only manufacturers out there.Very happy, Keep up the Good work FSA!! 02 September 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by They Break FSA do not make very good cranks, I have had them fail. The aluminium seperates from the carbon at the pedal insert...eventually (FSA SLK's). These ones crack on the arms and at the spindle. Do a google search ' FSA crank failures'. Best avoided in my opinion, use something else. Not that other don't fail but I could not find similar info for shimano, or SRAM...well not yet anyway. 05 June 2011
