Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by my idea I basically used components off this headset to replace broken bits off my 50mm OD HEADSET. 27 December 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Только забыли написать один из главных размеров! Для рулевых труб с внутренним диаметром (посадочным) - 41,5 мм. А то вот в мою 44,5 маловата кольчужка оказалась :( OD тоже 49,5. 23 June 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Giant SCR headset After searching no end of blogs/forums Park Tool and Cane Creek web-site and getting no help whatsoever from Giant managed to sort out a headset for a Giant SCR frame. Any Giant with a recess in head tube of 41.5mm diameter this will fit. If you have a tall spacer on existing headset no worries, it will fit on top of this one no problems, and very cheap at the price. Why I didn't give it 5 stars is that if the cups had been made with a slight 'lead in' on 41.5 outer diam. they would be very easy to assemble in frame, not too difficult as they are but could have been better. 22 May 2013

Answer:
This Giant standard semi-integrated headset fits a 41mm internal headtube, while a normal semi-integrated headtube has a 44mm internal diameter. The 41mm semi-integrated system was specific to the Giant OCR frames at the time of production.

Carrera Vulcan Fitment

Hi,

Been reading around and this is supposedly the headset I need for my Vulcan, is this correct? Also, there is no top cap, is it okay to use my standard one for this?

Thanks,

Answer:
This headset is intended for a 41.3mm Internal Diameter Head Tube. By measuring the internal diameter of the headtube; fitment can be determined (see image below).

Answer:
You should check with your local Trek dealer as I can't be certain, but I believe the 2009 1.5 ran a Trek specific size. This headset is a Giant specific, for a 44mm internal diameter headtube (with a 47mm outer diameter) so may not be suitable.

Answer:
Not being a Marin dealer I am unable to confirm this for you, but I believe the '11 Shoreline ran a standard 34mm headtube for a conventional headset so this semi-integrated FSA system will not be suitable. You can use a standard headset such as the Ritchey Logic linked below.

Answer:
Beyond checking with your local Carrera dealer, the best way to identify your headset requirement is to measure the internal diameter of your headtube. 34mm is conventional style, 41mm is Cane Creek Integrated, 41.8mm is Campagnolo Integrated, and 44mm is Semi-Integrated (also known as Zero-Stack).

I think you'll need a Semi-integrated such as that linked below, but double check your frame/ with your local dealer to be sure.
