Answer:
Your frame requires Integrated 11/8″, 36º/45º bearings for a 45mm OD head tube. Therefore this headset will not be compatible.

The item you require is listed below.

Answer:
This headset comes as pictured; as it is an integrated headset, headset cups are not required.

We are not a Boardman dealer but research shows this headset as compatible.

Answer:
Not being a Cannondale dealer I am unable to confirm what headset standard your Synapse is running. If you measure the internal diameter of your headtube top and bottom this will help you identify your headset size if you're unsure.

34mm is a conventional headset size
41mm is a Cane Creek style Integrated size
41.8mm is a Campagnolo style Integrated size
44mm is a semi-integrated/ zero-stack size

If still not sure, your local Cannondale dealer will be able to confirm what standard you need.

Headsets are supplied with a crown race, top cap and any appropriate washers/ spacers they require. Stack spacers are a separate item and can be bought separately.

Answer:
Ideally you should contact your local Scott dealer, as they should be able to confirm your headset standard straight away. Beyond that, the best option is simply to remove the existing forks and headset, then measure the internal diameter of the exposed headtube:

34mm is conventional (where the bearings rest in cups above and below the headtube)

41mm is 'Cane Creek' integrated (where bearing sit directly into the headtube)
41.8mm is 'Campagnolo' integrated

44mm is Semi-Integrated/ Zero-Stack (where the bearings rest in cups which press into the headtube and sit flush).
