Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT CARBON FINISH So far doing its job. Bearings are rotating smooth. Great carbon finish. I ride a lot in rain, so I covered the bearings in addirional layer of high-end Finish Line Teflon grase and I observed that the sealings in the red colour started to dissolve. I decided to clean them and not to put my grase anymore. We will see what happens after a while. So far it's warking and looking great! 25 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by produit de haut niveau prix sans concurrence monté sur un BH ultimate carbone donne un excellent résultat: direction nickel, poids très maitrisé....look carbone de très bonne facture rapport qualité prix imbattable en solde 25 February 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Crown race missing Everything is ok with this headset, except that the missing crown race. Consequently the bike building process stops at that point. Very sad. It could be mentioned in the product description. 09 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolute Bargain Bought to replace rusted headset on my 2009 Carbon Synapse. Simple to fit and forget (I hope). Great technical support from Chain Reaction prior to buying. 19 April 2013

Answer:
Not being a Specialized dealer I am unable to confirm, but if you remove the headset assembly from your frame and measure the internal diameter of your headtube, 41.8mm represents an integrated Campagnolo headset such as this FSA Orbit CF, or if it is 44mm you will need a Semi-integrated system (such as the Orbit Z linked below).

Does it fit a Maverick ML8?

Hi does this fit a Maverick ML8?
In Maverick website is says:
Q: What type of headset should I use on my Maverick?
A: The headset for the ML7.0, ML7/5, Matic, Durance and ML8 is the Campagnolo standard (45ºx45ºx42mm). FSA makes the most reliable Campy headset on the market.

And what is the difference between this and the CE you have here?

Answer:
There is very little difference in regards to the bearings; however the CF model does have a Carbon Top Spacer, where as the CE has an Alloy Top Spacer.

Not being a Specialized dealer I can't be sure, so you'll need to have your local bike shop/ Specialized dealer confirm it for you. This Orbit CF is for a 41.8mm internal diameter headtube and a 1.1/8" fork steerer.
