Rated 2 out of 5 by I have had a few of these and they last no time at alland they werent that smooth running,1 season of cyclo cross and they are shot, not like the old square taper which are virtually indestructable, not impressed at all,in fact verging on a "rubbish" comment. But saying this,i find all newer BB not to last long. 06 September 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top Marks Just replaced one of these with another one after 4 years of riding - cant complain as its not had any maintainence in that time an only just started creaking (truth is a quick tighten up maybe all it needed). Had to get descent BB tool though to fit over shell used Park BBT 32 fitted a treat. Top marks to CRC and Royal Mail ordered Tuesday delivered first thing Wednesday and to FSA for great product. 04 July 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not happy, cup threads r.s. Bought one of theses last year to go with new FSA cranks. Thread on cups has rounded. When I installed them finger tightened them almost all the way then used torque wrench to make sure. Started creaking about 2weeks ago, checked torque, then pulled them out and found the threadsyuffed, not all the way. Appears the thread is tapered and there is a definite step where it is rounded, funny thing is that it is half way in and the rest of the thread is fine. Not sure how this happens, only done a couple of hundred ams on them. 24 March 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Value I just broke mine today after seven years. Probably only saw 4 years of actual hard use though but still impressive. Left hand bearing outer race cracked pretty sure I'll be getting the same again... 03 August 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top quality bottom bracket I've had one of these since 2005 when by Tru-vativ gigapipe (which came with my new 2004 kona scrap) gave up and started creaking all the time. I only took it out for the first time a few days ago to fit onto my stab supreme and it's just as good as the day I bought it. To put it simply, i've never once had a problem with this BB for 6 years of commuting and freeriding. I will most certainly be replacing my current one with the same model whenever it starts to show signs of wear. 05 July 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Heavy but great Was making a weird tikking sound the first couple of kilometres. After that is was quiet and rolling smoothly. Bit on the heavy site but unbreakable. 08 April 2010
