Rated 5 out of 5 by FSA Chainring Excellent product we have it on two of our race bikes. 14 June 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by works well for my pourpose the chain ring is fine. I run it with a alfine 8 speed hub. looks great on the bike. I only have one gear on the front so it wears reasonable quickly especially the stop/starts in the city. all in all i'm pretty happy 28 April 2014

Suitable replacement outer chainring?

I'm looking to replace the outer chainring (FSA Tempo 50 tooth, 5 bolt, 130 BCD) on my Specialized Tricross Triple. As I've had no luck finding a direct FSA Tempo replacement would I be able to use this chainring instead?

Will this fit my Kona Dr Dew

I need a new outer chainring for my Kona Dr Dew 2010. The current one is marked;
FSA 50/39T S-9 130BCD.
If this won't fit, what would you recommend. Thanks

Answer:
Yes, your current rings are 39 and 50 tooth 9 speed rings running a 130mm BCD. This FSA ring should be fine as a replacement, but it's always worth checking the make and model of your crankset to ensure it does not require specific replacement rings.

Answer:
Yes, you can use a 'double/triple' ring on a single speed setup. The double/triple rings simply have shifting pins/ ramps on them to aid with the shifting of the front rings. Since you are only running 1 ring, these are surplus to requirements (but won't get in the way either, so are fine to use).

The FSA N10 chainrings are a revised chainring from FSA for improved shifting with Shimano drive trains. The chainring will work perfectly well with Shimano 10 speed setups.

Answer:
This chainring would not be compatible.

This crankset requires the specific chainring spider only found on the official Shimano model.
