N-10, S-10?

Can you explain the difference between the bolt options please (5 bolt, N-10, S-10)? I want to replace the 50t chainring on my FSA crankset with a 52t FSA chainring. Many thanks.

Answer:
N-10 is the revised new design to work with all 10speed systems, previously the S-10 was for all Shimano apart from 7900 ranges.

The technical description of compatibility is the following,

- N10 is compatible with Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo Ultra narrow 9 and 10-Speed

- S10 is compatible with Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo Ultra Narrow 10-Speed
