Answer:
This chainring is intended for use with a 10-speed chain only; as the HG40 is 6/7/8-speed compatible it will not perform efficiently.

Is the FSA Super Road Chainring - 53t chain ring compatible with Campag 11 speed or is there a specific variant required for Campag 11 ?

I already have SL_K crankset 53/39 for my ultegra 10sp. I am changing over to Campag 11sp and am looking to replace the chainrings.

Answer:
This chainring is 9 / 10-speed compatible; however as the inner chain is the same width on an 11-speed chain, these chainrings will be compatible.

Can I replace the big chain ring on FSAGossamer 50/34 with the FSA Super Road Chainring - 53t?

I Have full 105 currently and changed the cassette from the standard Europe spec of 11/25T to 11/28T

I'm prefer to pedal heavier gears but slower candence. Should the 53t give me alot more speed on the flats and in sprints?

Answer:
it is unlikely that these chainrings will fit to your 'Compact' 50/34t current setup.

A compact crankset has a 110mm Bolt Circle Diameter (B.C.D.) and conventional 'Double' chainrings have a B.C.D. of 130mm; making the fitting impossible.

Will this Chainring fit my application

I have a Shimano Dura-Ace FC7800 Double Groupset. Will this FSA 53t one work with the Shimano 39t and 105 5700 11-28t cassette and 5701 chain, because the 105 range only has a 52t that fits, and the dura ace is too expensive for me.

Answer:
The FSA chainring is a universal fit, the 130mm BCD spacing means it will fit your chainset and as it is a universal ring it will work perfectly fine with your Shimano drive train components.

The FSA ring is very good quality and will be more than reliable.
