Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Made me faster I upgraded to these from the fulcrum r 7's, that came with my cervelo r3. A reasonable upgrade, since I could'nt afford carbon race wheels, was what I was aiming for. What I got was a stiffer wheel that makes keeping speed easier, and the bike looks way cooler now! The weight of the wheel doesnt bother me one bit, Even when climbing. I weigh over 90kgs, and can easily remove five kgs from my body instead of paying by the gram on wheels. Improved all my segments on strava this year also. A Mix between better shape and better wheels. Great value for Money!! 16 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great wheels! Great wheels both going uphils, flat and downhills. 11 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great economical wheelset I upgraded from Shimano RS501 to these wheels on a Colnago Air and it definitely felt more comfortable to ride. Less bumpy feeling in the ride experience and it looks kind of aero-ish with affordable price point. Only thing i wish for is for it to be lighter. 10 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent wheels! Was due an upgrade and wanted something I could just leave on the bike all year without having to swap for "winter wheels" like a little spoilt kid! However at the same time I wanted something stiff and fast. These wheels tick all the boxes and best of all they look and sound awesome! Well done Fulcrum! 08 June 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not suitable for riders over 85kg Would have been nice to know these wheels are not suitable for riders over 85KG before buying them. Some mention in the specifications or description would be good - this is what you get when you buy online, buyer beware. I am not blaming CRC the Fulcrum site does not mention this important piece of information either - You only find this out when you read the manufactures instruction sheet! 17 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic wheels so far First of all, i have only got 2 rides on it so far and about 125km in all. So far im more the satisfied with the wheels. They are lighter then many others, they offer good aro and they also look kinda good. For my Trek Madone 3.5 are they perfect. they make my up hill easy and down hill much more fun:) Tyvm CRC for selling them to this price. Would totally recomand 15 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Most gains once up to speed My back ground, in order for you to understand my review. I am in my thirties. Have been a road cyclist for about 4 years. The first year I used a cannondale hybrd and formed my basic "road legs". I then upgraded to a decent road bike with stock wheels. I have done about 4000 miles on my stock wheels (Maddux RS 3.0)and had nothing to compare until I purchased these. Ive done about 400 miles on these wheels now and these are the differences: Sound: These wheels sound ALLOT different to my stock wheels. I never noticed the sound of the wheels on the road until I fitted these. There is a pretty audible buzz as they roll along. A good sound in my opinion. I should mention that I use them with shwalbe ultremo's. Responsiveness: Hard to explain, but I feel much sturdier on these wheels. I am definately braking a lot less. The wheels feel wider than my others. Although they probably arent. They just give me a bit more reassurance. Especially when up to top speed. When taking corners that I cycle along every day I feel like im throwing the bike round with a little more force and these wheels are equal to it. Speed: These wheels do not make me go faster on my average jaunt. The first time I notice any kind of difference is when I am up to full speed and cruising. Once im up to 23 / 24 mph and above on the long flat roads is when I feel the biggest benefits. The aero spokes and rollling resistence comes into its own. The wheels arent making me cycle faster but they are making me retain these speeds with less effort. Noticeably. Rather than fighting to maintain my crousing speed, these wheel kind of take over and help me achieve it. In a nutshell - You wont go faster on these wheels on a 20 mile stop/start ride. You will shave time off longer rides due to aero spokes helping you maintain speed and in turn saving you energy for later in your ride. Comfort - If my stock wheels were 4/10 when trying to dampen road lumps and bumps. These are an 8/10. Hard to explain but I just dont feel like im being jingled and jarred as much. In conclusion. I am very happy with this wheel upgrade. I feel safer and faster and they look cool. You will notice improvements to your ride but the only thing that will make you go faster is your legs. 12 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by produto com um bom custo beneficio. Uma roda bonita, que rende bem nas retas, não tem o peso de uma roda top, mas também não é pesada. Exelente produto 12 March 2014

Answer:
This setup is not ideal as the shift tolerances are tighter with an 11-speed cassette; this makes the cage width on the rear derrailleur, chain width and chainring tooth profile on a 10-speed drivetrain not practical.

The spec says 10/11 speed so it all boils down to your drivetrain. If your drivetrain supports 11 speed it should be OK.

Answer:
diffently yes, just use spacers. I have the wheels and use 10 speed, There is 1 spacer with it. I dont think it can make it 9 speed, but with my new shimano cassette there was also a spacer. So with new cassette and wheels it should work IMO

Answer:
The wheel set comes with a spacer for a 10s cassette, apart from tyres and tubes you need the special lock ring spanner to be able to remove the cassette.

BTW these wheels are not suitable if you are over 85KG - see my review

Lateral movement

I recently purchased these wheels and have only just put them on my bike. I've noticed that the rear wheel has a but of play and will move from side to side with about 2mm of movement with a noticeable (albeit faint) knock being felt - you can move it to touch both brake pads.

This only affects the rear wheel, there is no movement in the front wheel.

Is this normal for these wheels?

Answer:
I had a good look at the wheel last night and figured it out.

The bearing holder cap (if it has a name I'm not sure what it is) had come a little loose, this can be tightened up, and then the hex bolt also tightened to make sure it won't move side to side.
