Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome wheelset! These wheels completely changed my ride, upgraded from some cheap wheels that kept breaking. These, although not much lighter than my old wheels are so much stiffer and stronger. They roll really well with a decent set of tyres and the bladed spokes and deeper rims do actually make a difference on the flat. 12 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply Excellent I have my Quattros for 20 months now and have put approx 5500kms on them (between 2 bikes) They are still in perfect condition, true and 100% straight without any work needed. Even though they were only a few grams lighter than the wheels they replaced (Pro R35's# they are noticably faster and stiffer. The bearings are smoother and the wheels roll easier. On sportives and groups spins i'm constantly having to brake on downhills as I'm rolling faster than others #tyres are Michelin Pro 4's SC's and contribute too) and I’m fairly lightweight compared to many in my group. There is a very subtle/light freewheel noise and a metallic hum from the wheels themselves which adds to their appeal for me. The wheels look fantastic on my Felt F5 as the red nipples and black/white graphics match my bike perfectly. I have considered 'upgrading' them but keep backing down as I cant justify it. I have ridden a friend’s bike which is the same as mine but his Ksyrium elite wheels are over 300g lighter but there is no noticeable difference on the level or on hills compared to mine and so I don’t really see the point in changing them for anything else. I would have to buy something considerably more expensive to find anything to match and beat the Quattros, in my opinion. They’re reliable, smooth and look excellent. Top marks Fulcrum! 17 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light wheels for light people I've had them for a few months now. Since I'm only 65kg I can't say much about their stability, but they're really smooth and pretty light. A good buy for me! 16 September 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by rear wheel free hub failure I had only used these wheels for just over 4 months when the free hub on the rear wheel failed,i returned them on the 1st August and to date (6th sept) have not heard back from chainreaction as to whether they are going to repair or replace it! Expect wheels from Fulcrum to last better than this(,as previous wheels fitted to my Trek lasted over 4 years until i crashed and broke spokes) and customer service from chainreaction to be better than this very poor and hugely dissapointing !! 06 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fulcrum Racing Quattro's First of all I would like to say that I am extremely pleased with CRC super-fast delivery. Wheel set was shipped within couple of hours and the next morning was in my country!! Thanks CRC. I upgraded to Fulcrum Quattro's and replaced stock DT Swiss Axis 2.0 wheels that came on my Specialized Allez 2012. The first first thing you notice is, of course, the looks of this wheel set. These wheels look really awesome and it will definitely give a nice cosmetic touch to your ride. Second thing I noticed is the stiffness. Even though aluminum made, the wheels are quite stiff and there is no "sense of bending the wheels" during heavy ride. Quattro's roll very smooth and it is noticeable immediately on the first ride. Considering these wheels are 35's, I have to say that I did not notice any side wind effects even on windy downhill ride. I have a 10 speed set up on my Specialized Allez. The spacer provided with the wheels is necessary to install together with the 10 speed cassette. I removed the previous spacer that was together with my 10 speed cassette and installed the one that came with Quattro's because it was thicker. QR's are supplied with the wheels. I do highly recommend this product! 04 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great wheels! Super fast, super strong (even under a 95+kg lump like me), super value for money. Look great and build quality is great. 01 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Made me faster I upgraded to these from the fulcrum r 7's, that came with my cervelo r3. A reasonable upgrade, since I could'nt afford carbon race wheels, was what I was aiming for. What I got was a stiffer wheel that makes keeping speed easier, and the bike looks way cooler now! The weight of the wheel doesnt bother me one bit, Even when climbing. I weigh over 90kgs, and can easily remove five kgs from my body instead of paying by the gram on wheels. Improved all my segments on strava this year also. A Mix between better shape and better wheels. Great value for Money!! 16 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great wheels! Great wheels both going uphils, flat and downhills. 11 June 2014

Answer:
No they are not suitable - see my review

Would have been nice to know these wheels are not suitable for riders over 85KG before buying them. Some mention in the specifications or description would be good - this is what you get when you buy online, buyer beware. I am not blaming CRC the Fulcrum site does not mention this important piece of information either - You only find this out when you read the manufactures instruction sheet!

The wheel set comes with a spacer for a 10s cassette, apart from tyres and tubes you need the special lock ring spanner to be able to remove the cassette.

BTW these wheels are not suitable if you are over 85KG - see my review

Answer:
This setup is not ideal as the shift tolerances are tighter with an 11-speed cassette; this makes the cage width on the rear derrailleur, chain width and chainring tooth profile on a 10-speed drivetrain not practical.

The spec says 10/11 speed so it all boils down to your drivetrain. If your drivetrain supports 11 speed it should be OK.

Answer:
diffently yes, just use spacers. I have the wheels and use 10 speed, There is 1 spacer with it. I dont think it can make it 9 speed, but with my new shimano cassette there was also a spacer. So with new cassette and wheels it should work IMO

Lateral movement

I recently purchased these wheels and have only just put them on my bike. I've noticed that the rear wheel has a but of play and will move from side to side with about 2mm of movement with a noticeable (albeit faint) knock being felt - you can move it to touch both brake pads.

This only affects the rear wheel, there is no movement in the front wheel.

Is this normal for these wheels?

Answer:
I had a good look at the wheel last night and figured it out.

The bearing holder cap (if it has a name I'm not sure what it is) had come a little loose, this can be tightened up, and then the hex bolt also tightened to make sure it won't move side to side.
