Rated 4 out of 5 by MattHolden waterproof, warm.
there is no question that this coat actually is a waterproof coat, it works! it is very warm though, I wear this with nothing underneath, if I did I would probably end up wet from sweat instead of rain... but I do wear a bag when cycling to work so this probably doesn't help. the underarm air vents are a great idea to let some air in though and keep me a bit fresher.
the coat also seems a little bit short, not massively so, but just short enough to notice, fits my body perfectly for arm length and size wise across chest and around waist but it is just a bit short... maybe I have a slightly longer upper body than most?...

This jacket appears to be either brilliant or rubbish going by the reviews here so I thought I would add my own opinion on it as well. I bought this on a recommendation from a friend who said it was excellent in heavy rain and after a 10-12 mile commute in a downpour it had been great. My own experience was somewhat different, I can't really attest to is waterproof abilities as after a long ride I am absolutely soaked in sweat from it's lack of breathability so it's hard to say if there is any external moisture as well. The temperatures I was riding in wasn't the problem as it was only about 4C. I am about 6ft 2" and weigh 73kg so I don't think there's a problem with being overweight. For the price it is a well enough made jacket but breathable I am not too sure

I ordered the XXXL as I'm a 110cm chest size.I found this to be a bit short in the back for me and also a snug fit.I won't be riding with this Jacket as from past experience it's not the material that wicks moisture.I'll just keep it for when I walk my dog on Winter mornings when I'm not exerting myself to much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Very nice jacket with lots of attention to details. Good price/value. Liked the most the vented armpits (zipper opening won't catch rain), the large venting system on the back and the bottom seating flap (keeps snow/mud/water away of your a...s). Only 4/5 : too bad seams are not glued nor taped.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous This jacket looks great and fits really well. It is waterproof however, it is not breathable at all and I get soaked because of it. This then result in getting cold because of the trapped moisture!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Great jacket. Short arms and zips aren't great.
A great jacket with lots of venting, but I did still get wet from sweat. I wear a Camelbak, which blocks up the rear vents and, after two laps of Bedgebury Forest in about 4C temperatures this weekend, I was very sweaty, but nowhere near as my other waterproof jackets.
I will point out that my friend was wearing a jacket that I'd boil in, and he was fine.
Last weekend I went biking in pouring rain, and it did the job perfectly.I did get a little sweaty.
I'm 6'1, and medium build. I bought the medium which is fine, but the arms are a bit short when I'm on the bike.
My only real gripe is that the zips are a bit cheap, and they are a pain to use when you get them a bit dirty.
Overall, it's great value but I'm going to have to spend more to get something which will be usable in warmer temperatures.

Quality looks good but im not sure who they made this for, it comes up very short on the body. At 6ft4 im used to clothing not fitting well, but even in XL this is still 2 inches too short. A word of warning to tall people out there
