Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Easy to brake but I only broke one in 4 years and I got 3 other bike with the same mount.
If you don't want to replace it make sure to protect the locking system (the part that, I guess most of us have replaced after breaking it :/).

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Defective design
As many others have commented, these mounts fail after very little use. My latest one lasted less than six months. It's always the release tab that snaps off. It's a fundamentally defective design. I am looking for an aftermarket substitute.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous No problems with this product
I've never had any problems with this, and have been using it with my Garmin Edge for almost 3 years now! I've taken the Edge on and off hundreds of times and the bike itself has been through a lot. No issues for me at least.

This bike mount does the job. Be careful when operating the release lever though, it might break off if you are too eager… The zip ties unfortunately adds a cheap look to the rather pricy assembly.

I've bought too many of these. It's great that you can buy one for each bike and just swap your Garmin between bikes, but the plastic tab breaks so easily when you take it on and off that you end up replacing them every few months. It can't be beyond the engineering capabilities of Garmin to design a solution for this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous plastic tab snaps too easily - expensive pieces of plastic
I agree with many of the reviews below - the part isn't well made because the plastic tab snaps off easily, and it's an expensive replacement for a few bits of plastic. And most of us only need one of these pieces (the one with the release tab) but have to buy the lot. Two have snapped on me - now searching to see if anyone makes a cheapie copy rather than forking out to Garmin again. Deducting one star for price (not CRC's fault) and two more for poor design/materials.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Like some of the other comments, I have snapped one of these on the release lever and now have to get another expensive replacement. It's a lot of money for a weak poorly made piece of plastic
