Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous My favourite toy! (and I have quite a few...)
I originally bought this to replace my Garmin GPS III Plus that I use for 4WDing and to also use for trekking and long bush walks. Despite my original reasons for purchasing it, I now mainly use it for mountain biking and now road cycling. I can upload my rides to Garmin Connect to track my progress and I can even view my journey in Google Earth.
It is simply awesome - typical Garmin quality which is why I bought a Garmin again. It has copped a beating since I've had it yet it still looks like new.
My favourite feature is it's custom mapping capibility which has proved to be invaluable when out trekking or mountain biking. It's always saving me from getting completely lost. I don't leave home without it these days.
I highly recommend this product!
p.s. I've now got my eyes on the heart rate monitor and cadence sensor so I can get that extra info to upload into Garmin Connect.

When i first start to use my Oregon i didn't know much about gps. I bought it because we have a place we are in the summers, and it is near a big forrest, and i thought i would be fun to have a gps with me in the forrest, and it was. Then i thought i could use it when i was mountainbiking and it was a blast, now i could not live without my Oregon 450t, but i don't have any gps when i'm running and there is where the Forerunner 610 would be great i think.
