Garmin Premium Heart Rate Monitor (Soft Strap)

Train more effectively with our premium heart rate monitor. When worn around your chest during an activity, it wirelessly transmits your heart rate to your compatible device for instant feedback on how hard you’re working.

The strap is made of a soft fabric for more comfort. The size is adjustable to your body so it stays secure during your activity.

Once it’s paired with your compatible device the first time, it will automatically recognize it each time. And it's optimized for use in crowded areas like the gym and road races, so it won’t pick up any signals but your own.

Taking care of it is a snap. The plastic heart-rate module is removable from the strap so you can hand-wash the strap as often as needed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Short life span Worked very well initially. 7 months later it keeps dropping out or jumping to the wrong HR rate and staying there -eg sitting at 125 when I know I am at 170 ish, or jumping to 178 and sitting there when I am doing a cool down. Also sensors have started to come away from the strap - despite following care instructions. This could be due to running in hight heat and humidity in Middle East but even so, not good value at all. 01 August 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not reliable This strap came with my Garmin 800 which only lasted about 6 months. So I bought a new one, and 4 months later that has decided to not work properly. Last night my heart rate sat at a fixed rate for almost 20mins. Also, when I have reviewed my sessions I noticed that there were spikes and at times missing heart rate data. I will be looking for an alternative strap. 27 January 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not do its job, unreliable ! This came with my 310XT forerunner watch. I have been on the one run with it. Run distance was approx 16km. The watch is perfect but the heart rate monitor did a poor job. Approx 11min 20sec in it spiked to 232 bpm and never recovered thereafter. The run total was 70 minutes. From the 11 min 20sec mark i was reading heart rates in excess of 200bpm. The spike can be seen above at 11min 20 sec and heart rate monitor reading did not revover for the reaminder of the 70minute run. It had plenty of time to do so. Disappointing. 15 December 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Yes this is a great product if only it would last,my first lasted one year, second 6 months 3rd 5 months. My heart rate would go for 135 to 50 ,210, 190 ,35 and so on. I am now going to buy the heart rate monitor with the hard strap my partners is still going 2 years now. 09 June 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Short life span Is good while it lasts. After 2 years it bonked and began giving over 200 BPM readings, even at times the strap was detached from the transmitter. However, I guess that 20 quid per annum is not such a bad deal... 13 April 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pairs well with Wahoo iphone dongle This is great paired with the Wahoo iPhone ant+ dongle. 10 April 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excelente Simplesmente o melhor disositivo para medir bpm. Já tive de várias marcas, andei alguns anos com um Polar, mas este é de longe o melhor. Depois de estar colocado, a leitura no meu edge 500 é quase imediata, e muito fiável. Lavar depois do exercício, apenas. Muito bom. 30 May 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by unreliable after 6 months it started to show unbelievable heart rate data...from 110 bpm suddenly it goes up to 190-175bpm...since 45 days i cannot plan workouts depending on this product...i am using my edge 800 just as an ordinary gps device. 26 February 2012
