The warmest of the new collection of winter gloves, the Sottozero is made to keep your hands warm on rides well below zero. It has a built in fleece liner that provides insulation. The palm has gel padding at pressure points and a flexible gripper. Reflective elements for added visibility. Velcro fastener at the wrist.

I have had these glove for about 13 months, but they have only been used when the temp was below 10°C about twice a week, probably late Oct to April.
The palm area of the right hand glove has just disintigrated at the base of the fingers, exposing the waterproof lining. Now, while they were warm and dry when in use, I dont think that this should have happened to gloves of this price.
Effectively, although I have owned them for over a year, they have only had about 4 months light usage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Great gloves for the chilly weather
I bought these glove to get me through a mild winter and they were great. I used them through all the cold conditions I encountered and they kept my hands nice and cosy. Again, as mentioned, over a period of time. Only advice is I find the sizing a little smaller than normal - perhaps it's an Italian thing. Not a problem, just bare in mind when you order yours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Good for cold weather
Bought the gloves for cold winter in Beijing (usually zero or -5 degrees) and they are brilliant to keep cold out. Usually gloves can only maintain warmth for a certain period of time, a problem I had with my snowboarding gloves, but these ones are different. After 1.5hr ride on my TT bike, it's still warm enough. The only problem might be breathability. I feel my hands dry but after I took my hands out, it's difficult to put on the gloves as the inner side of the gloves were not smooth enough for my hands to slip in. I would attribute this to the damp hands. Overall I still recommend these gloves for cold and dry winter long ride.

Great gloves, block out all cold and I find that I dont overheat in them. Ridden in temps as low as 0 degrees C.

Great looking gloves and very comfy. Sizing is typically Italian. The large fits perfectly although I don't consider my hands to be particularly big. I tend to get cold fingertips but was fine today on the way in. The temp in London today is -2C according to the weather channel. I guess that backs up the 'sub-zero' claim which I must admit I was a little dubious about initially. Not for genuinely cold conditions I suspect but around zero they are just fine IMO.
