Rated 4 out of 5 by Sirios77 Gusset Bachelor SS Tensioner
Delivery by hand in 4 working days, the piece is very nice and works well.
I've effetuato a new order for the chain in half meshes from 1/8.
The only flaw I could not mount it as shown, but I had to mount the contrary, that is, with the chain above the pinch.
My racing frame has the dropout too prominent, and the chain tensioner going to touch before he could tighten the chain.
However, even then it works fine.

Feels really strong and solid, very simple design, but does take a lot of fiddling around to get it perfectly tensioned. You sort of have to tighten the dropper bolt first so the vertical dropper takes the pressure, then tighten the QR up after, otherwise it doesn't hold the chain. As long as you do it this way, it holds it perfectly.

this is terribly designed. it is meant to attach to the quick release skewer, but you can't get enough pressure on it without snapping your skewer for it not to move. this means you constantly have to tighten it or else the chain sags. then when this happens, the overly wide rubber guide-wheel (what were they thinking?) allows for too much chain movement and guides the chain OFF the sprocket!! if for example you are riding standing up and rocking the bike side to side as you put the power in, then you will fly over the handlebars and break your arm. like i did. don't buy it. get one with a cog that you can adjust alignment. Did i mention there was no way to adjust chain line?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Cheap, works fine
Used this to turn my GT Chucker into a singlespeed. I don't know if the rear mech bolt is particularly far from the axle on the Chucker, but it certainly seemed like I don't get the full range of adjustment from the tensioner. So long as I'm careful with chain length though, it all works fine. Slips a little bit after a few months riding, no major complaints.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Good thing, but...
... as many guys said, not perfectly fit all frames. I run it on '10 Trek 8500 with single cog on a conventional multispeed cassette rear hub kit and it fits witn chain under it only. Roller is pointless very wide and chain travels freely side by side and goes off the cogs. I replaced roller and its axle from previous crappy STS kit, added few shims to position roller as i need and have no problems at all since then. 4 stars instead of three because i really dig quality and craftsmanship of this product after trying weak and rusted STS kit which forced me to grind part of it to fit my frame. And most important thing that Gusset SS contains axle nut - its way above STS in case of secure wheel mounting.

CRC perfect delivery etc, item is better than expected the photo is poor and does not show the laser etched Gussett logo on the side, its also bullet proof - whilst
its cheaper than rivals its simpler so i guess that why its so good - after 2 tensioners that were poop i bought before giving up on single speed - it also accomodates my super strong YBN chain - its quiet enough and simple to fit and the power transfer to the drivetrain is awesome no flexing ive found - advice any tensioner with a piddly 11tooth jockey wheel ios rubbish and flexes like a standard rear mech - this is the dogs and im converted.!

a lot better than expected and the picture is not exact cause it actually says gusset on it, a problem i found is the roller was too wide and some of my teeth were bent so i replaced the roller with a jockey wheel and it was perfect.
