Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's comfy, at least for me and it's ideal for my commute, it's also surprisingly cool and my heads not boiled. I bought this for my commute to work, admittedly I haven't used a helmet in ages since packing in mountainbiking (the itch is back though#. Started feeling a tad vulnerable lately after some near misses with drivers and another cyclist who felt red lights and one way systems didn't apply to them, so I dug out my old Giro helmet thinking it would do. However, it's a full face one and to be fair, felt daft on a racer and then realised it had a crack, so that's a hanging basket now. Anyway this helmet... I picked it because I'd read a few reviews first and they seemed positive, but I did need something bright and the Bell commuter one I was after is no longer available. This is hi-viz jacket colour with some reflective bits on the back, I already wear a hi viz waist coat and my bag has reflective strips, the bike's got Exposure lights but I think the brighter the better. It's comfortable, there is a sense of the hardly noticeable about it, the adjustment system is simple and it's all well padded, it's a good snug fit once sorted and it's cool, the vents do a marvellous job and the rain is guttered away with the add on visor well. I work odd hours so it's dark when I leave home and in winter it's dark when I go home, so the hi viz colour and reflective sections serve well. In short I really like it. They also come with an extra visor, the spiel in the box states that the current attached visor is apparently very well fitted #some people apparently prefer them without#, so removing it may mean breaking it, it's a nice touch and at least means you have a spare and don't have to buy one as an extra if needs must. The instructions are clear and precise and cover everything for the unsure. I would recommend it to any commuter who rides in darker hours. It seems solidly built and designed and I can't see anything going wrong with it provided you look after it. In winter you will have to wrap your head up I suppose because it is very well ventilated #admittedly I'm used to older full face hlems so maybe this is an issue only I've noticed), heat is channelled away nicely and I was worried about this when I bought the helmet; I love cold, rain and winter mud....yeah....I know, everyone thinks I'm odd, but having hayfever is all about itching, snot and tears and I don't like being hot because you can't do much about it and a large part of my commute is uphill. I happily recommend it. Wonder if knights in armour did reviews like this.....nice reinforced upper section to stave off halbards yet still with good ventilation and replacement visor in case of rust... 11 May 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cheap Junk! Color lasts but a year! I wish I hadn't spent the money. The one size fits all is a joke. It will barely fit when I wear my Halo headband (circumference). In addition there is not enough strap to accommodate wearing a hat. The color has faded to yellow-white such that it can no longer be considered a safety color. 07 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hi-viz This helmet is good quality and great for being seen around town. 21 April 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Colour fades very quickly I bought a yellow a year ago. Pretty much white now. Otherwise it fitted OK. Have not tested it by falling off. 07 September 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by an orange one has lost it's colour on the sun.become faded 06 June 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by It's not yellow! It's not orange either. My helmet is hi-viz lime. It's construction is satisfactory but the size is off. I regularly wear a helmet that ranges to 63cm. I use a thin helmet liner as a sunshield in Florida but still dial the fitting in a notch. No way does this helmet go to 62. Look elsewhere if you want a yellow, well ventilated helmet. 17 August 2012
Thanx CRC!! 26 July 2012
