A natural real juice carbohydrate gel formulated so you don’t need to drink extra water. With caffeine.
Real juice flavour for a light refreshing taste
23g of carbohydrate
Race proven in the World’s toughest competitions
Contains caffeine (30mg/sachet)
Easy to carry, easy to open
IsoGel Plus has a consistency more like a sports drink than a gel. It is smooth and has a dash of real juice for a great taste. It’s not thick or overly sweet. Easy to open and swallow, each sachet contains 23g of carbohydrate and a moderate dose of caffeine (30mg). When takingIsoGel Plus as recommended, the caffeine content can increase attention, concentration and reaction time. IsoGel Plus is award-winning and proven in many of the World’s toughest competitions.
Which High5 gel to choose: EnergyGel Plus or IsoGel Plus? Both types of gel do the same job. However, IsoGel has a lighter consistency somewhere between a drink and a gel.EnergyGel has a slightly thicker consistency, but is less bulky and lighter in weight, which makes it easier to carry in larger quantities.
Please consider the environment and keep the countryside clean by taking your empty gel wrappers with you after use.
2:1 Fructose Gel
High5 DO NOT produce a 2:1 fructose gel. We believe that there is little real world benefit to such a gel for most athletes. The advantage of 2:1 is that you can potentially consume more carbohydrate (up to 90g per hour), but you would need to take 4 gels an hour to realise that benefit. The Glasgow University research tells us that Marathon runners will generally only take 2 to 3 gels per hour (46g to 69g of carbohydrate), even when instructed to consume more. This inability to consume 4 gels per hour negates the main benefits of a 2:1 gel formulation. So there is little upside to a 2:1 gel, but there is a major downside. A high fructose 2:1 gel would be very sweet, when athletes tell us time and again that they want a non-sickly gel.
Dosage & Usage:
Take up to 3 sachets per hour, less if you are also using a sports drink.
Note: very occasionally some athletes find that caffeine can increase cramp, so always try IsoGel Plus in training before racing. If there is a problem, then simply switch to using standard IsoGel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hekke86 Best I have tried
Definitely the best gel I have tried. It does weigh slightly more than others since it's an iso gel but the value you get far outweighs that. No need for water with this one is a great plus

Rated 5 out of 5 by Avalon Easy to drink
These are nice to drink, some Gel Sachets are very viscous and can be difficult to get into your mouth and to swallow when you are cycling or running. this stuff is nice and runny, it flows from the sachet, it also tastes great and the caffeine is a nice added bonus if you're fatigued.
