Rated 5 out of 5 by Very elegant fix A very cost effective solution to keep your perfectly serviceable IS system brakes, when you've just purchased your new post mount forks. 08 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Worked for me! Its a complex business these adapters eh? For me it worked fine, I have a pair of Rockshox XC 28's with Postmounts for brakes and bought a set of IS type Hope Mono m4's with a 203mm rotor for the front. This adapter worked perfectly but needed to get some shims/washers to get the right distance to the rotor. 18 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Not pretty but 100% functional Despite the warnings I fitted this to my Marzocchi 2012 corsa sl fork with a mono-mini caliper. No problems at all. Usual hope quality, recommended. 20 March 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product, if you have 180mm or less PM fork. The +20mm is not +20mm of your IS brake setup, it is +20mm of what the PM fork is made for! So if your fork is made for 180mm, you need 180mm+20mm= 200mm disc. If your fork is made for 200mm and there is no 220mm disc for your caliper, do not buy this adaptor! Then you need new brakes instead :-P (or a different fork). 06 June 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by It Works If your forks are Post mount and your brakes are IS then you need an adaptor, i got this one. It works and it's well made so i guess it shouldn't get anything other than 5 stars. Plus you can/have to run a bigger rotor so your brake will seem more powerful 20 June 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by FANTASIC BIT OF KIT I NEED THIS ADAPTOR WHEN I UPGRADED MY FORKS FROM 03 Z3'S TO MANITOU STANCES. WOKED A TREAT VERY HAPPY AS HOPE ARE THE ONLY BRAKE COMPANY THAT DO THIS TYPE OF ADAPTOR. I HAD A MINI IS MOUNT AT THE TIME. THIS ADAPTOR ALSO FITTED 06 MX COMP BOMBERS AND AS FOR THE MUPPET THAT THINK AVID DO THIS ADAPTOR THEY DONT!!!!!! 02 January 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hope IS to Post +20mm Fitted my 2007 Marzocchi 4X WC fork just fine. Needed shimming a bit to raise the back of the Mono Mini caliper, but thats normal. Proper job! 15 May 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works with my forks!! Have used this adapter to mount IS Hope Mono Mini with 180 MM rotor to a 2008 Marzocchi 55 ATA 2. Works a treat, no filing or messing about needed. Oh and the 55's have been as good as gold also by the way so they can't all be bad!! 25 November 2008

Answer:
Depending on the IS brake your using , this will take you out to 200 / 203 mm brake disc. This may involve shimming to get perfect clearances, no different to any normal IS system set up.

Answer:
This adaptor will fit the intended purpose if your fork model has a post mount standard for a 140mm rotor; this mount adaptor would then increase the rotor compatibility by +20mm = 160mm Rotor.
