Rated 4 out of 5 by bikebrayker good OEM stuff from hope as always
I have put value as a 2 because i always think the price of original eqpt pads from all brake manufacturers is way over the top, especially when you see the prices other after market companies charge. any how, during the summer i expect 5 months of use with sintered and 2 months in winter this pair has lasted me 2 months and a week. its not long but i ride about 4-8 hrs a week at this time of year an on some pretty steep muddy stuff. if i had gone organic i would expect less than a month. great quality pads that in both models feel far superior than the cheaper competition with more bite, modulation and better wear rate, just wish they were cheaper by about £5.

Hope pads are excellent at providing the stopping power required and are long lasting. Orginals every time for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Excellent for wet or dry weather
Bought the Sintered Pads, I've tried the organic ones before and found the stopping power in the dry is marginally better - but wear rate is a lot higher. The sintered ones work great in all conditions i.e. gritty, sandy, wet, dry etc.
If you buy 4 sets the price is unbeatable value (i.e tenner a set).
Tried various pads i.e. EBC, Superstar etc - but found the Hope originals are the best.

Brilliant pads, the sintered's are my faves, and a steal at $70 for 4 pairs!! A little squeaky in the wet, but still grab beautifully. If you think the local bike shops in the UK are expenny, you wouldn't believe what they try and charge for Hope stuff in Oz!

all pads from whoever should come with springs as its normal to trash the springs once at end of pad life.. Original hope equipment comes with springs, both styles of cotter pin (push fit and threaded types) and a retaining circlip for the push fit pin
