Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous overall excelent
i bought a ns suburban frame and had a hope wheelset, the quick release was too flimsy and i couldent stick a chain tensioner in as the dropouts were too short so installed this device which was excelent untill the bolts thread sheared off and as i later found out the thread in the axle was also sheared out but i bought a new one and the same happened again with the bolts so bought a 10mm industrial bolt from wickes and cut it down to the right lengh and stuck that in and since then i have had no problems atall, so i would definately recomend this item but strongly recomend spending £3 on a pair of bolts from a hard ware store, also then you can tighten and loosen with a spanner or socket set which is always better as more pressure can be put behind it and therye is a extreamly small chance of shearing the bolt off so it becomes ungripable, overall, i would definately recomend buying this axle just get new bolts for it and dont over tighten it :)

beaucoup plus pratique et rigide qu'un QR 9mn...
attention cependant a ne pas abimer les tetes de boulons au serrage
ps : mes 3 moyeux hopes en sont equipes !

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Loads more stiffness than QR, until it comes loose, which it will regularly. It doesnt matter how tight you do up the bolts. The frame also rests on the bolt threads putting big gauges into the dropouts.
Have converted back to QR after 6 months. Pro 2 is an awesome hub, the 10mm bolt thru conversion doesnt work though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous easy to fit, strong
fitting is easy, if u know a little about bikes it'll be self-expalanatory, but there is a video of a hub rebuild on Hope's website that is very useful. Only mistake I made was not pressing a seal back in fully, meaning cassette would still turn when freewheeling, but a quick phone call to Hope and they pointed out my error.
Good, strong parts, you will feel a difference in your ride, more sturdy than a QR. Plus more theft proof than a QR, need allen keys to remove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Axle conversion ???
Hi, I would like to know if you need to change the bearings when you swap
out axles eg: changing from 12mm through axle to 10mm bolt up ?
As for the product, same excellent quality we've come to expect from hope
