Axle fits OK one end but seems too small at the other end (cassette end) and clearly won't work.

It's a Hope Pro 2 rear QR conversion (from bolt thro')

Thanks

Answer:
There are two different versions of the Pro 2 hub; the original Pro 2 and the new Pro 2 EVO. There are 2 functional upgrades, probably the most important is the switch on the rear hubs from 15mm to 17mm inner diameter bearings. This allows a much thicker axle to be used. The 12mm axle wall thickness has also been increased from 1.5mm to 2.5mm.
It sounds like you have the Pro 2 EVO so will need the Evo QR kit linked below

Answer:
To answer my own question. No. It will not work with the EVO. There is a different conversion for the EVO.

Answer:

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/...

Saludos!
