Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by xx1 driver for 12x142 The unit installed fairly easily but the description doesn't say specifically that is for use with 12 X 142 but it fits well. One thing of note on installation there is a little black backing gasket where the driver meets the hub and you need to make sure it goes down in the hub completely or it will not spin easily. 01 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but potential bearing issues If you're going to run XX1 on Hope hubs you have no choice but to buy one of these. The price is OK (especially compared to the other XX1 kit) and it looks very nicely made. The freehub is really easy to fit and makes that lovely Hope click. My only issue is that I had to replace one of the three bearings within 6 months as the hub was getting sticky. I'd like to think they should last longer than that. That said, it was very easy to replace and less than £10 for the bearing. 18 November 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far so good.... I just upgraded my 150 thru-axle to XX1, and I have to say "so far, so good". I'm not a big fan of DT Swiss looks on their hubs, so I decided to go with Hope instead, because of their beautiful machinery and colors. I'll report later on how this free body is performing under a brutal terrain. 08 April 2013

Answer:
The X12 reference is in regards to the spacer included to help widen the hub a further 7mm to fit in 12x142mm dropouts.

For running this freehub with a 12x135mm Pro 2 Evo hub; then you just use your current 135mm end caps.
