Hope Pro 2 Evo Disc Front 20mm

The now proven range of Pro2 hubs have gone from strength to strength since they were launched. Countless tests, reviews and of course rider feedback have shown that the Pro2 is everything that we designed it to be.

Four pawls engage into a twenty-four tooth steel ratchet which is fixed into the hub shell and is sealed with a frictionless, non contact labyrinth seal. The axle runs on five cartridge bearings. All Pro2 hubs are standard 6 bolt disc compatible.

Hope Pro 2 Evo Disc Front 20mm Features:

  • The hub shell is machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aluminium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent hub It's very light & run smoothly as butter. Excellent hub, even my brother bought it and he using it more than 2 years now. Thanks for the recommendation Bro. 17 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by fit and nearly forget certain parts of a bike need a good quality item to save messing about and money in the long run. i have pro2s on a HT, FS and DH bike and have not 1 complaint. strip them down clean and relube after winter and then forget about them. the HT hubs are 2008 and i have changed the free hub bearings once after 3 years of winter riding. hubs on my DH bike are on there 3rd set of rims only maintenance issue was a badly fitting drive side seal, sorted it for less than £3. its cheaper in the long run to buy quality. 04 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome hub love this hub as there is much more verity of colour for hope! 19 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 08 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 12 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hub Brought this hub for a downhill build I did. Great hubs seem to take a pounding, only been for a few rides. Love the variety of colours available. 24 January 2014
02 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by superb nothing to add really, great job from hope, really light but tough, rides smooth, not so bad price actually for that quality product 100 % recommend 12 November 2013

Answer:
There is no big difference. It's just a marketing. The 15mm is a newer standard to make more sales of product. The 15 mm hub has to be a little bit lighter. But not such a big difference.

Answer:
The 15mm and 20mm refers to end caps fitted to the hub which dictates the axle size that these hubs are suitable for. Ultimately though, they can be switched between all common standards with the use of a conversion kit.

Answer:

Answer:
We do not build these hubs with 12G spokes; which may be fine but it is not a common practice. We always use 14G which is the recommended spoke to be using.

We would recommend contacting Hope directly if you intend to run 12G in the spoke lacing on this wheel.
