Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simple design that works great! They're very easy to fit, no tools needed (without cassette). Took me 10 secs to do it :) You need to take out the lock on your cassette to fit the drive side end cap. 23 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easily Installed. Bought the X12, easily installed and it's the usual Hope quality! 28 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by does as it says fits corrctley and is easy to install with the usual hope quality 09 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product - just make sure you order the X12 for 142mm axle width These hub converters are great quality and easy to change, I ordered the '12 mm bolt through' thinking it was the one I needed, then realised the wheel was not tight and the disc was rubbing. After a bit of research I found that the X12 is for 142 mm axle widths. This is not clear at all on the CRC website, so just check before ordering! 11 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by how easy is that??? this will convert your hope pro 2 evo hub to 142x12 bolt through in minutes. 27 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Spot-on Simple, well build and designed and do the job they are supposed to. 24 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simple, bien fini et simple, du Hope quoi. 05 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Very Handy The quality you would expect from hope. Bought this to change my hope pro 2 evo from a 10mm bolt through to a 5mm QR. I am not a trained bike mechanic i am 100% self taught, I found putting this in really easy. I love how easy it is to convert hope hub's. I ride 100% Downhill/ Freeride and I am not the lightest of riders. This has stood up to the task not had any problems with it very very handy bit of kit A++ 30 December 2013

135mm x 12mm pro 2 evo hub into a qr frame

Will this be the correct qr conversion and it would be even better to know if the 10mm bolt in and 10mm bolt thru would work with this frame (only a bog standard 135mm qr rear end)

Many thanks in advance,

James.

Answer:
The compatible axle option will depend on the diameter of the dropout in question.

If the dropout is spaced for a 12mm QR Sub axle then the 12mm bolt thru would be ideal. If it is spaced for a Conventional 10mm QR sub axle (most likely) then the 10mm bolt thru would be the best option.

Answer:
12mm Bolt Thru is to convert the Pro 2 Evo rear hub for a 135x12mm or 150x12mm thru axle system. The 'X12' kit will convert a 135mm hub into a 142x12mm, so this is the one you need.

The 12x142mm is known as the Syntace 'X12' standard, so for a Hope Pro 2 EVO rear hub conversion, you need the 'X12' version (sku261447)

Answer:
The only way you will be able to convert a Pro 2 Evo rear hub to 12x157mm is by purchasing the 150mm specific hub and also the Syntace X12 conversion kit. This equates to 157mm.

It cannot be done from a 135/142mm hub.
