Rated 4 out of 5 by Simple and functional I was tired of the repetitive struggle to make holes in my race numbers for putting toggles through. It takes ages. You need scissors or a hole punch or sharp teeth. The hole is never even so has a tendency to tear. I've finished more than one race with my number hanging off. I'd seen the belts with little poppers on being used by other athletes, and was envious, but for the past few years I struggled to find one as the fashion is for the elastic string with the toggles. Then Huub came along with this one. You need strong thumbs or ingenuity to get the poppers to engage over the number -- the paper is quite thick, after all. I have resorted to using the flat of a multi-tool against the ground (I have small thumbs). Once on, though, the number seems solidly attached and in no danger of coming free. The belt itself seems to be good quality, with a good, thick, woven feel that suggests it will last a few years at least. Very pleased with this. I have yet to see how securely it holds the number when I'm stripping off a wetsuit, but it is now my go-to belt for non-wetsuit races. 08 June 2014
