ISM Adamo Attack Saddle

The Attack’s popularity even took us by surprise.  While originally slated as a road bike saddle, it has proven to be equally loved by triathletes and time trialists.

What makes the Attack different from our other seats?  Some of our customers and professional athletes asked for a seat that had a narrower rear section, and the Attack answers that call.  At 110mm wide, it is our narrowest seat, offering superb thigh and hamstring clearance.  This allows for more rider body movement, and is loved by climbers that scoot far back on their seats.

The front arms of the Attack feature a contoured downward slope.  This can aid in allowing the rider to roll their hips forward for high power output, or for increased comfort with a high amount of saddle-to-handlebar drop.

Like all ISM saddles, the Attack is nose-less and designed to remove pressure from soft tissue, ensuring maximum blood flow, no genital numbness, and a healthier, more enjoyable ride.  The Attack features a medium level of padding, similar to our Breakaway and Road models.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great High Performance Saddle I'm 190cm, 92kg, log in excess of 12,000 km/yr, and a typical ride is 60-160km. I bought this to replace and ISM Adamo Podium saddle that I had mounted on my Trek Madone 6.9SSL for a couple of years that I was pretty happy with. The Attack, though billed as a more high performance saddle, is more comfortable than the Podium. It's a bit narrower and frankly feels a bit more "cushy" and complaint vs. my old Podium. I find it easy to move around on and comfortable seated climbing or down on the drops hammering hard in "TT" mode. I've done up to 190km rides on this, so 5-6 hours continuously on the bike and found it to be very comfortable. Saddles are very personal things so finding one that "fits" your body structure and riding position/style is always a bit of trial and error. I've put about 2,000 km on this new Attack so far and am very pleased with it. I like it better than the Podium it replaced and the Fizik Kurve (Snake) which is my other favorite. 08 August 2014

Freeride, XC?

My stock seat (length 260, width 130). Can I use this seat for freeriding, cross-country? ISM Adamo Breakaway Saddle as you said, you do not advise because of the large size as compared with the stock saddle. Thank you!
