Rated 5 out of 5 by Best ive ever used They fit really well and protect well. No slipping or chaffing. They are expensive but you pay for what you get. 31 August 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by disapointed Disappointed when they arrived hardly any protection on shin seemed to move around easily nothing special especially not for their price 06 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by stop looking and buy these are awesome, great fit and performance, used these XC and they dont move at all, the silicon grippers on your thighs grip well, the velcro straps are perfect place and they also breath pretty well considering the size of them. Look the part as well, definitely worth the money 14 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Full knee shin protection with no slip I can't fault these pads they're comfy and don't slip at all !! I would highly recommend to anyone I do a lot of climbs with these on and forget there on until they save my shins from bouncing rocks on the decent 10/10 27 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Put them on ummed, walked about ummed, rode a trail wow!!!!!! Ok so coming from a set of really old 661 guards that slipped but saved my knees from the high speed impact of a bad fall on chunky gravel once (gauged plastic from the guards) I knew that I had to have something with hard caps but wasnt too heavy and didn't slip, I bought a set of 661 comp knee/shin and they went back (look at my review for them), spent months looking at pads and finally decided on these, I will never look back, they were tight when I first put them on but soon adjusted them riding round town on my bike, went and did a small uphill downhill in them and the only gripe was that I can feel them on the back of my legs when seated, they dont cause any pain or discomfort though and I soon forgot about them on the trail, no crashes as yet but I can see that they are going to be solid when I do crash, no slipping, no nothing, did the whole marin trail in betws y coed with them and didnt touch them till I finished, no pulling up, no nothing. My measurements are as follows letters according to chart -{D 43cm}- -{F (10cm above kneecap) 49cm (5cm above kneecap) 42cm}- -{G (10cm above kneecap to 15cm below) 31cm}- not sure how IXS take their measurements but there you go, I got the medium and there is room for breaking in but if I had been any bigger then they would not have fit me, If you have bigger measurements than me but not much bigger then go for the large, the F measurement seems to be the best guide as the 10cm above measurement suggests that I am close to a large as can be but still in medium, I would say that the size guide is pretty spot on if they only explained how to take the measurements better. 10 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by IXS Cleaver pads These knee and shin pads are the best I've worn and I've tried most brands for DH and AM trail riding. There comfy, flexible, light weight and offer some of the best protection going. You won't be disappointed, yeah I was sceptical with the price at first but I'm glad i got these they are worth every cent. They don't move around on the legs, They breathe well, They rock. If you're looking for the best knee shin combo on the market you won't be disappointed 10 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by awsome Quite a few pounds but totally worth it. they look amazing, you can se that they are well made and just fit great. really light as well. had TTHE knee and shin pads before which they just fall apart after one season. recommend these pad 100% 27 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best one iv ever had! Been through all the cheaper brands and moddels, and what can i say...this is something else; Comfort; check Does not slip or twist; Check Can take a beating; check I like ride my bike from trail to trail, or from mountain to mountain, and i can tell you that they work great for XC, no rubbing strapt or anything. Only drawback with that i can think of is that they can be a bit hot, but when your out hiking in the mountains what dosnt get hot? 27 November 2013

I have them and my girlfriend tried them, she thinks they are really comfy and they fit her well, we both have greatly different shape legs, I would say they are unisex plus girls look hot in them ;)
