Features: • DTC - Dual Tread Compound – The most advanced combination of rubber compounds for maximum tyre performance, incorporating a high density (60A) rubber down the centre of the tyre and a low density (50A/55A) in the cornering knobs. • The rider is rewarded with low rolling resistance for fast acceleration and climbing while gripping the corners like flypaper
Rated 5 out of 5 by TheWhiteRook Excellent for the terrain i ride
These are the best tyres i have used for where i live and ride, Ive got through a couple of pairs over the past few years and don't feel any need to look for anything better. I got the first set as a bit of a fluke as they were very cheap on CRC. I don't really do trail centres so i can't comment on their suitability for that sort of riding. However i am lucky enough to live in a hilly rural area with bridleways, landrover tracks, old quarries, forestry tracks and open access foothills. Much of the terrain is a variety of rocky, gravelly, muddy and grassy and i've yet to find a better tyre for this mix. Also they are easier than many on the tarmac to get to and link up these tracks, which isn't relevant for an off road tyre but its no bad thing. I find running them a little harder than other tyres, i use 40psi, works best. They are not great on short wet grass, but i don't really think any tyre is, i just accept their limitations and take it steadier. Obviously they get the odd puncture, but what tyre doesn't.

The best tyre I have ever used. And im not changing to another... it handles climbs really well and also very stable during corners. Plus this tyres r cheap! Very rare occasion you get cheap and good products.

Comparing this to nevegal, tracking wise would be a thump up for nevegal. The karma is best in dry or damp conditions. Tend to slip during hard corner in wet muddy trail.. Not as predictable as the nevegal. Overall, still satified with the karma. And crc, keep up the good work guys. Thanks alot.

Initially these tyres were excellent and really held their own on the front, especially in combination with a square edged boot on the back. BUT and its a big but, watch the edge tread and change them before they wear out. I was so chuffed with mine it took me a while to realise that they were worn out on the shoulders and that lead to a couple of nasty wash outs on roots before I twigged and changed them. They lasted a good while before this started to happen, and I know it was my fault, but it was a bit of a shock, they went from utterly dependable, to leathal over just a few rides. Excellent, but throw them before they throw you

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous These are great tyres for on and off road riding. I have had mine for 2 and a bit years and thats them needing replaced now. Easy to take them off if you get a puncture. I would reccomend them to any beginer and novice as they give exceptional grip on most types of ground. the only type of ground they have let me down is on very wet grass which was extreamly slippy and I did a face plant in to the ground

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous This is a good all round tyre i've had mine for a year and a bit n they are just starting to wear know, but they have been on tough terrain, dirt, shap rocks and soft rock etc and they have never let me down. But if you take them to their limit they will start to slide.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Kenda Karma Pro.L3R. 450g each. The lightest tyre I`ve ever had on a mountain bike in 16 years. Grippy and fast but if you`re anything above 12 stone and actually ride the bike properly or quite aggressive you`ll have problems with snake bites or rough terrain. The sidewalls are inner tube thin and even at high pressure can`t take the big knocks.
Commuting or fire roads fine but Aggressive XC in rocky trails, no way.
