Rated 1 out of 5 by Bought a dud? Was looking for a replacement for the knackered and very heavy Suntour fork on my Scott Sportster P5. Very glad I test fitted the wheel before I fitted the new fork, because the dropouts were misaligned and the rim was off centre at the crown by about 5mm. Sent it back and opted for a Ritchey carbon one instead. 10 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good cross fork I installed this fork on my cyclocross, it works well on dirt, and performs well even on rocks and small jumps. Among the cons; if you brake brusquely the fork is not so steady, but it shakes a little. 11 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super light Montée sans problème pour remplacer la fourche droite acier de mon vieux DKT Triban Road 5. Gain de poids notable, absorbe mieux les chocs et me permet de m'affranchir du frein à disque inopérant. 30 October 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great forks Excellent quality, very light as well. 30 April 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by smooth ride but a fair bit of brake stutter I got these to replace the stock forks on my cyclo cross bike. I've got mixed feelings about them as they major good point is also the cause of the bad point. First the good: Riding off road with these is like having suspension. Really smooths out the trail (within reason). Also good on the current pot-hole ridden roads. Now the bad: When riding on the road, moderate to firm braking causes a very unnerving stutter. If you're going in a straight line and in the dry then this isn't much of a problem but in the wet and/or on corners the tyre actually bounces on the tarmac. (braking off road gets the same issue but is less of a problem) If you regularly need to stop quickly (as I do commuting in hilly Sheffield) then these forks are probably not for you. For touring or real x'ing then they would be a good, budget choice. 09 April 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good, sturdy fork Everything you need in a basic fork. Light enough, sturdy and inexpensive. If I get the 'cross bug I'll splash out on carbon but this is plenty good enough for now. 10 January 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by comfy, but flexy Very soft and comfortable. Stable in high speeds also. But then braking hard, the fork flexes and that results in vibrations than reduces the braking power and control. You can actually see how the fork bends while braking hard (it bends several centimeters). But it's damn cheap, so I guess that you get wath you pay for. If you want top performance, you need to pay more, simple as that. I will replace my fork for the next season... 19 September 2008
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good I bought this fork with my cyclocrossframe Kinesis crosslight pro 4. I ride to my work on dirtroads and better roads mixed. The fork is light and it swallows bad conditions and keeps the bike calm. I am surprised how good the comfort is.If you brake extremly it can be feeling a bit soft, but it doesn't bother me. I'm very satisfied 14 September 2008

Answer:
These forks will fit any headtube/headset that is able to run a standard 1.1/8" steerer fork. They are suspension corrected and run a 700c wheel size so should be ok to use with your Sportster 20. I'd suggest contacting your local Scott dealer for confirmation first.

Answer:
This fork has 50mm of tyre clearance which would be very tight for a 2" wide MTB tyre.
