Rated 5 out of 5 by thebaldbikebuilder Excdellent chain at an excellent price
I always recommend these over the SRAM or Shimano equivalent on my builds and services. The Ti-Ni finish not only looks good, but does seem to add longevity to the chain. The Missinglink is reusable and easier to install than SRAMs Superlink and if I have to remove a Shimano chain I always re-join it with a KMC Missinglink.
So it is a durable chain that is light and easy to install and doesn't take a lot of looking after.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Superman Looks brilliant and does a good job for what it was designed for
I use this as a standard single-speed chain and won't use anything else now. It is excellent quality and you can manage to take the chain off without a tool, which is great. No problems so far, well worth it.

Still using this after 2 yrs+ and its refusing to wear out, gets regular maintenance though as it looks dirty quickly if not! Gives fast smooth changes when paired with X0 rear mech. Worthy alternative to Shimano or SRAM equivalents.

This chain is supremely smooth and quite light and the gold colour adds an interesting touch of bling to my bike !

This chain is on my bike for 1 year now,and it is used in the worst conditions possible and it is still going strong. It is still as gold as new.
I did order spare chains but never needed them, it is that strong.
The chain is very light which is nice but the the real positive is it's strength.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Nice chain
Bought this to add some gold shine to my bike and its nice however, as all chains do this gets dirty quickly and when dirty from a few paces back it looks like a rusty old chain. Performance wise its a very good quality chain and when clean looks good too. I've found i clean my chain alot more now to try to keep the shine on it lol hope this helps, performance wise it gets a 5/5, looks im gonna give it a 3 cos most of the time it looks rusty.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Looks nice, but doesn't last
I've used 3 KMC in the last 6 months, 1 on a 10sp 29er, and 2 on 2 full sus 9sp bikes.
They look very bling when fitted and are easy to cut to length and fit with the "missing link" provided. The gold finish however soon scuffs up, but they still look OK, but the major failing I've had is 3 stiff links.
1 of the 9sp chains developed a stiff link within 8 weeks of being fitted, the 10sp within 3 weeks. These have required the links removing and another "missing link" fitting.
I've never experienced a stiff or seized link in all my years of using SRAM chains which have always lasted for ages. I run all my chains through a chain cleaning device (park) and lube after every ride, I'm a bit OCD about chain maintenance, on both my mountain bikes and motorbikes, so was surprised at how badly these KMC chains have performed.
I'm off to order so SRAM chains now and put these in the bin!
