Rated 4 out of 5 by Tom112121212 Nice but nothing special
Having a gold chain certainly looks nice when it's clean, the trouble is that it only takes a couple of hundred miles to become covered in grime and then the effect is lost. So what you're left with then, is a chain that's just like any other chain.
Unless you're fastidious when keeping your bike clean, I'd save your money and buy a slightly cheaper chain.

Very nice gold chain, very strong, however, I went for one ride using the lubrication that came on the chain, and it wore the paint of the middle rollers. I don't know if the same would have happened if I cleaned it first and used different lube, but the pre-applied lube was almost like grease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt KMC, the best for bike chains
What more can I say? I have been running on KMC chains for more 2 years now with no trouble at all. Previously I used the Z7 chain for more than a year and after tonnes of abuse, it is still intact only with a slight chain stretch. I purchased the X9 for my 9 Speed Drivetrain and it looks stunning. Oh, the missing link really helps too. Easy to take off, easy to put it back on and NEVER breaks while I cycle. With constant cleaning and lubricating, plus proper gear change techniques, this chain glides like a dream. Get it, you won't regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by thebaldbikebuilder Excdellent chain at an excellent price
I always recommend these over the SRAM or Shimano equivalent on my builds and services. The Ti-Ni finish not only looks good, but does seem to add longevity to the chain. The Missinglink is reusable and easier to install than SRAMs Superlink and if I have to remove a Shimano chain I always re-join it with a KMC Missinglink.
So it is a durable chain that is light and easy to install and doesn't take a lot of looking after.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Superman Looks brilliant and does a good job for what it was designed for
I use this as a standard single-speed chain and won't use anything else now. It is excellent quality and you can manage to take the chain off without a tool, which is great. No problems so far, well worth it.
