Rated 2 out of 5 by sharemyoyster not the Frog they used to be...
For those of us that have had, and used the Knog Frog of old, these are a disappointment. I haven't suffered the problems that others seem to have had regarding the units coming back on and running the batteries down, but I did notice that they failed to switch off properly. Then I noticed that the backs are a bit fiddly to get back in place, this may be the problem that others have had. So make sure that the backs are clicked snuggly back in place before fitting them to your bike. Mine have the lamp indicators the wrong way around, meaning the red button is on the white light and visa versa. It definitely seems that Knog have dropped the ball with these lamps. Whereas the old Frogs were indestructible and reliable, these seem a little precious! Hopefully Knog will pay a bit more attention to what their manufacturers in china are doing next time around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous good if you take care
I've got several sets of these lights which live on a couple of bikes. Yes, it can be easy to turn them on accidentally in a bag, but as I hardly take them off the bikes this doesn't affect me. (the bikes aren't used for commuting, just for more serious off-road stuff). In my opinion these are a great set of backup or marker lights, and are actually surprisingly bright.
So far they've survived a fair bashing off-road and are still as good as new. You can also wrap them around some helmets to act as a second set of lights. Batteries are dirt cheap, they're the watch-style ones which you can pickup really cheaply in packs of five or ten from various places online.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Definitely a design fault
Have to agree with others here: LEDs are bright and it's a good compact design. But it's all completely wasted as the batteries expire overnight as they switch themselves on and off randomly. Have swapped faulty ones with retailer only to find they all do it. Really disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Perfectly adequate for lit roads
Perfect for riding down lit roads when you don't manage to beat the sun home. They let you be seen by motorists, and avoid fines for not having lights. Easily removed and fitted; I regularly swap them between my commute bike and my DH bike. No problems with reliability after two months.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Nice idea but poor quality
I bought these lights because of their size. They are tiny but also quite bright and ideal for letting other road users see you. I loved how fast I could whip these out of my bag and onto my bike with no fuss or tools if I got caught out by the dark after a long ride but after owning them for a year now I am much less impressed and have had no option but to walk for risk of getting knocked off my bike when they just fail to power on for no apparent reason. Sometimes they work and sometimes they turn themselves on, sometimes they won't turn off and other times they won't switch on at all. I always use quality batteries but now i'm really disappointed because despite the clever design, these could be brilliant if they weren't so badly made and unreliable. I have been forced to look for a more reliable replacement.

Used the original LED knogs for a couple of years & was well pleased....grabbed two pairs of these when they hit the market & now think they're utter crap....batteries seem to expire when not in use & they don't work half the time...gone right off Knog!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Impractical
Nice idea - poorly executed. Have been trying to use these for a few months - they just don't work very well. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't and replacing batteries sometimes works/sometimes doesn't.
