Rated 5 out of 5 by TOTALLY FROGGY Great product, not the brightest of lights but the you will be definitely seen, if not be able to see off the beaten track. Perfect city lights and very interchangeable if you have several bikes. 12 August 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Having given up using this on my Brompton after it ate through two sets of batteries in as many months, I relegated it to back up duties on one of my more rarely used bikes in the shed, furnished with fresh batteries. I've only used it once for a short ride and a couple of months later I now find it's drained the batteries again. This isn't a problem with the switch, it seems to be a straightforward case of a design fault in the circuit which means it is constantly draining the batteries even when turned off. 29 November 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent product very noticeable and bright at night. the rubberised stretch cables are ideal for attachment. battery life is ok IMO and at £2.80 including postage for a pack of twelve replacement batteries, i wouldnt be overly bothered if it wasn't. 13 October 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Really disappointed A neat little design and definitely brighter than the original knog frog but battery life on my one was appalling. Having been really impressed with the front and rear original Knog Frogs I decided to try adding a front one of these to my Brompton for extra visibility. It seemed good until within a couple of months the twin CR2032 batteries were completely flat. According to the specs the original knogs are 80 hours steady / 160 hours flashing. These strobe ones are claimed as 50 hours steady / 80 hours flashing, but I think I got less than half that. I commute into London via train and the switch on the top of this design is much easier to accidentally knock and turn the light on than the original design. There have also been quality control problems with the lights turning themselves on and off when you hit bumps although these are supposed to have been fixed. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, changed the batteries and tried again and the same thing happened. Really disappointed... 12 April 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by major flaw -easily switched onproblems with accidentall Have several of these lights- major problem revealed itself-the light is so easily turned on without realising. If you pack it away for example it can be easily turned on just by being pushed against other objects, even soft objects. Results in no light when you want it with batteries exhausted. Batteries are not cheap to replace. Knog must be aware and need to resolve this. 18 August 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for the Cash Moni£s. Had one of these Knog Strobes for several months now and been put to alot of use and abuse. Managed to stand up to commutes in the snow against the winter. Its very bright and outshines my main cat eye rear light. The mounting system is great, as its unbelivably simple to use and take off. For the price I'd recommend to buy two. One flashing and one on constant to get yourself seen and to give drivers a refernce point to how far away you are. The disadvanatges to this light is the battery life is not the longest in comparison to others. Although the batterys are cheap to replace. And it does come on easily if you lean it on a suitable place to lock up your bike. All in all a nice simple sleek product. 06 August 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hardly noticeable on the seatpost. Holds nicely - I don't even take it off for days of downhill. Very bright. Negative points: - the switch is too light. Sometimes I turn it on by accident. - Not sure where to get replacement batteries, as it is not AA ) 03 July 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by its very very small 2 tablet battery not strong mount 17 February 2011
