Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Use with a D-Lock
Similar experience to one of the other reviewers - this lock is no match for professional tools. Bike was locked up on Fleet street for a few hours on a busy December evening with lots of passing foot traffic. Was cut clean through, presumably in only a few seconds. It is easy to use, but in future I am going to use a lighter coil for the wheels and a D.

Had this lock for about a year, mostly left outside. After a period of non use, the internal spring load latch failled to close properly. There was corrosion inside the lock mechanism and is now useless. Other then that, a good practical lock.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous My bike hasn't been robbed yet.....although I do use a d-lock as well whenever I lock it anywhere, so it isn't likely to be robbed any time soon. One word of warning, though - the combination reset itself somehow without asking me first! At least, only one digit changed which made it relatively easy to figure out the lock's newly found preference. I must have snagged one of the bits of the internal mechanism on something while unlocking my bike somewhere.....so be careful with that, it could have reset mre than one digit then I would have had a bit of a problem! So 4 stars rather than 5. Just need to learn to be more careful!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous I've been using this for over a year. It's used to lock my bike, which is in a semi-secure work compound. It's long, and after a short breaking in period easy to stretch over a bit of a distance. The occasional drop of oil keeps the drum working nicely. Given the price I'm very happy, but as previous writer has put, the cable can be cut, and this isn't a substitute for a good D-lock if your pride and joy has a good chance of someone trying to nick it. I would reccomend though for use in the right conditions.

I had this lock on a bike when it was recently stolen. Up until then I was very happy with it's performance. The cable is long enough to thread through the wheels and frame with ease. The obvious downside is that a cable is easier to cut, as I can now testify. D-Locks from now on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Good solid lock
Good solid lock, long enough to go through both wheels, frame and lamppost.
Sturdy bracket means the lock won't jump out on the road (as happened to my previous cheaper lock)
Velcro tie keeps the coils in place when stored.
Perhaps a little on the heavy side.
