The Lezyne Hecto Drive Rear complements its Front counterpart perfectly, delivering a highly visible 15 lumens in Flash and Blast modes. The Side Visibility design allows 180 degrees of visibility and increases user safety. The light easily attaches to a wide range of round seatpost diameters via a snap-fit Composite Matrix mount, with a multi-position silicon rubber strap for tool-less installation. The dedicated rear mount points upward to ensure light is directed straight back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by IkeonBikes A promising purchase until...
... it disappeared from its bracket :(
Purchased this wanting to upgrade to a rechargeable rear light for commuting. I'm reasonably pleased with a previous Lezyne Mini Drive XL front light purchase and like the look of their products so decided to give this a try. Turned out to be a very short trial.
After completing the initial charge, re-threading the USB covering 'tailcap' took several tries, (I've now seen this issue mentioned in reviews for one of their other models as well).
Once on the road, made it to work fine, with a nice and bright flash. I've got a moderately long commute (@35mi. each way) so often ride thru full sun to dusk on the way home. I stopped about halfway home to change glasses and switch on all lights for the remaining ride only to find the Hecto light no longer in the bracket.
The manual does say "ensure the tailcap groove is fully engaged in clamp" which I thought I had done, but will never know for sure now.
On reflection, just not sure the bracket is secure enough and long enough for the body of this light.
If you have one, or buy one, take care when fitting the light to your bracket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oren Strong light, good mounting hardware
The light is very strong, and the beam width is not as narrow as the cheap lights - which means you have more chance to be noticed.
Mounting hardware is good, just read the manual first to understand how to use it (the rubber band serves also as a buffer between the light and the frame)
The USB charging is a great feature.

What is the date on the battery? I have had a lezyne light before and the date indicated it was a pretty old battery and close to it's 2 years of useful LIIon battery good life, this is why I am interested in the battery age of this light. Do you have any new batteries for them?
