Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantacic This light is really really well made . I run this in race mode it's lasted over 2 hours got me home and still not showing red battary level is low . I can now night ride the trails just as fast as the day . One of the batteries would not charge . TOP TIP fully charge one battary and then touch both batteries together that will give the one that won't charge a kick start . Only thing that lets down this light is the clamp . Be sure its clipped in as it should be . Mine has not come off and I rode it hard . Can not get rubbers under the clamp so light tends to move down after a harder ride . More than happy with this light 13 September 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 brilliant light but................ Fantastic light even on low beam its great on full beam its fantastic, lasted on mixed beam setting for about 3 .5 hours but sickeningly fell off on at the end of first ride when i hit some bumps and flew down the road at about 40mph, it survived but knocked all the corners off it and split a seal, id double checked it before I set off as well, as id noticed its only held on by a small plastic lip on the mount, gutted. We be attempting to have replaced. Also the clamp was difficult to fit as unless you're happy to have a metal to metal fit the thumb screw inst long enough when putting the slimmest of rubber sleeve in in, even with one wind of tape around the bat to protect it i struggled to get the ends of the clamp to meet. 05 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Daylight At Night Purchased to replace an Exposure Joystick whose battery live had dwindled over years. Supplied promptly by CRC. The 'Loaded' option includes a solid plastic box lined with foam padding, a plus for storage. The only irritating omission is a set of printed instructions. Although the Lezyne website has a PDF it is memory hungry. Onto the light, well built from a single lump of aluminium. The hinging for the battery looks a little flimsy but so issues as yet. The illumination is excellent, I thought I had selected the high setting due to the amount I could see, it was in fact low! Some reviews have criticised the bike mount with examples of the light falling off when on rough roads/ground. I would suggest double checking the light and mount have engaged and if required fit a backup lanyard through the bracket and loop in round the handlebars. Battery life is as advertised and with two supplied there shouldn't be any nasty surprises. The USB charging lead is quite short so you may need to buy a longer one depending on your computer layout, alternatively a mains adapter may be more convenient. Well pleased with the light - recommended 07 July 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Job and worth the Dosh This is a great light and built like a tank. Had the model down I think it's called the SuperDrive, which was good but this is another level and well worth the additional dosh with 2.5 hours at 500 lumens or 1.5 at 1000 and these are true ratings (read the magazine reviews). I ride weather permitting at night during the week and this more than up to the job. You can't put a price on safety and this light will let you see any hazard well in advance and will let you be seen. On a practical note its all self contained so no cables to break and no battery packs rattling about and the battery on this unit lasts an lasts, so when your club mates lights have expired you'll be leading the way! simple to operate an has a flash mode incase you over run your time. So glad I spent the extra dough...Happy 17 February 2013
