Light and Motion Seca 1700 Front Light

The Seca is the night defying lighting system for single-track addicts. The Seca continues to lead the industry with a major overhaul this year making this light the top choice for any serious rider looking to get some extra hours of quality single-track.

With its new low profile mount, new bi-conic reflector, and strong 1700 lumens of light the Seca 1700 outshines, outlasts and is the lightest in its class. You will be amazed at the difference this light makes on every night ride. More light is clearly better. Check out the light shoot-out under the "beam test" tab to see for yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great light Got this light off Merlin (35 quid off special offer too - take note Chain Reaction). Excellent light. Had an old Seca 700 with 6 cell battery too so now I have a total run time of 4hrs on high between the two batteries I now own. Extremely bright, light is sent exactly where you need it by the excellent reflectors. The only criticism I would have is that it can dazzle you when the light is reflecting back off lighter rocks and wet surfaces so I run it on medium more than I expected to on wet nights. Still plenty bright enough at 'only' 850 lumens when I do that. Ramp it back up to full on the downhills and the fast bits. Feels reasonably solid although the low profile clamp is a bit fiddly but it does hold very firmly once on. Would definitely recommend. 03 October 2012
