Rated 4 out of 5 by If youre looking for Shin Guards alone these are excellent, they fit nicely, stay where you put them and are very solid. However it´s difficult to find matching knee guards. None of mine fit (including the Lizard Skins Softcell Knee Guards) together with this guards. The shin guards are just to big/massive to be compatible with any knee guards I own. With the AStars SLC the combination is ok but nothing I want to ride for a longer period of time. 12 March 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellente protection et légère à la fois. On s'y adapte très facilement dès la première sortie. A recommander les yeux fermés. 15 October 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by These arrived just after Christmas - I swapping to flatties from SPDs and wanted the shin protection from the pins without resorting to full-on knee-shin combos. First impressions are a really comfortable fit - They are secured by an inner velcro flap (made of five tabs), over which there are three further velcro straps - they're plenty long enough and sit firmly on the leg without being obtrusive. There is a fair bit of overlap on the inner flaps, which suprised me as I'm not exactly skinny - but this doesn't seem to be a problem. As far as the build quality goes, they look pretty good. As protection for rider using flat pedals, who don't need full-on body armour, these look like an excellent option. 13 January 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ok so picked these up this morning firt impression where good, then came time to put them on. Fitted nice and snug but took a lot of playing to get them to fit under my kneed pads eventually got them both sorted. Kept cool enough whilst riding and once I was going didn't really notice I had them on which is good. All I would say is they are slightly to long and as such when I'm not riding or free standing they tend to dig in slightly in to my shins but I did go for the L/XL. Will re submit a review after a few more rides. DHB. 10 March 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought these for x-country, to reduce shin damage from pedal slip, brambles etc. They do an excellent job, don't seem to intefere with pedalling and offer a high level of protection. Sweat wise they seem to be cooler than the 661 veggie wraps, comfortable to wear all the time on cooler days, can be slipped quickly on and off on hotter days. Only downside is price. 28 August 2008
