Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Cycling in and out of Dublin Cycling with large number of people just step out in front of the bike causing me to have to either break hard or swing into traffic.
Had a normal bell and no one paid the smallest bit of notice to me, the same with shouting.
Saw this and for the price said why the hell not, It works well most people either step back onto the footpath or if they are someone that has just step right in front of me putting myself and them in damage they normal jump back.
It doesn't really sound like something related to a bike, But in Dublin I think that's a good think and most people seem to have the mind set "Ah it only a cyclist" and when the hear this the reaction is normal "what the hell is that" and they look around Which for people that step in front of cyclists with or without (normally) looking is handy. They no see you
Had it a few months and the main strap hasn't broke but than I don't remove it from the bike much. with the weight it tips forward over time and you have to pull it level again every week or so.
The small strap for the button was cut off by someone on me but it worked well, I now just have it wrap under the bar tape and it leave it on the bike.
It not really heard by cars unless they are in the middle of cutting you off and don't have there radio on high. But than said no one ever heard the bell in a car, So if that's what you where using you still getting a huge upgrade.
I would happy but it again if this one breaks, but i wish they sold both strap so you could replace them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Loud sound of whistle (though I expected it would be a horn). Rubber belt on button isn't long lasting, so I changed it for another rubber ring. All the construction is lightweight and it never moves on the handlebar once set. And battery life seems infinite. Looks cool.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous If you want to make some noise in traffic, buy it. But, the attaching belts are poor. Both one friend and I got this horn and the belts simply disintegrated - the rubber melted after a few months of occasional use of the bike. If you are ingenious, you can attach them afterwards with electrical insulation tape. I was hoping the producer would have replaced them, but apparently not as my friend got the same thing after more than a year appart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Excelente producto a bajo precio. Ideal para trayectos urbanos y evitar peatones que cruzan "de oído". Sonido estridente como el silbato de un árbitro de fútbol, se oye de lejos. Se coloca muy fácilmente y es resistente a la lluvia (comprobado). Ligeramente voluminoso. Un 9.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Great noise and easy to fit at first.
A few months down the line and the rubber fixings perish...
A few more and the sound goes!
Great idea shame about the quality and access to spares...

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous I love this horn as it's considerably louder than a bell and it does get noticed. Although bells are associated with bikes, here in London quite a few cyclists are using whistles so the Megahorn fits right in as it emits a loud whistling sound.
The only problem is that the horn and button are attached with special rubber bands. Mine both perished within a few months, despite only using my bike occasionally and keeping it indoors at all times.
I have asked several shops for replacements and tried to find parts on the web, but so far no luck.
You can't use normal rubber bands as the forces on the horn due to its weight are considerable.
I would advise to buy this horn IF you can buy a packet of replacement bands at the same time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Horn is rather bulky and could be done a much better clamp system instead of a rubber belt its not steady on the handle bar. Same thing goes for the horn switch. Horn is loud enough but wished it was a tad louder though. Actually it does not have a horn sound but it sounds like an English police man whistle, or a football referee.
