The new Dorado Pro is an engineering masterpiece. 7050 legs, inverted construction, dual-chamber air spring, TPC+ damping (with independent high- and low-speed compression), hydraulic bottom-out and top-out, and Manitou's patented HexLock 20mm thru-axle add up to the most advanced downhill fork ever.
Spring Type: Dual Air
Adjustability: Compression and Rebound Damping
Brake Mount: Disc Only (PM - 203)
Dropout: 20 x 110mm thru - axle
Weight: 6.55 (2974g)
TPC+ (Twin Position Chamber): Providing 4-Dimensional Compression Damping; The velocity dependant circuit responds to the terrain while the Pressure Dependant Circuit flattens the bumps, the Energy Dependant Circuit activates on big hits while providing unmatched small bump sensitivity and the Position Dependant Circuit creates a bottomless feel.
Dorado Air Spring: Features a single air input on top of the fork and a large volume air spring to give a linear spring feel. Combined these give the ultimate sensitivity for any rider in any condition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous super fork i had in pass many dh forks: 3 boxxers ,monsters , shivers....mr.T DNM..... and i have to say is the best fork what i ever ride only one fork what is close enough to mx forks not coz is upside down coz is so plush (on trail not like boxxers just when you press the fork at home) and bottom proof

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Owned fox 40's and boxers .i prefer the dorado .
They just work , dead easy to set up . Seals permanently lubricated .Brilliantly smooth silent running ,endless travel feel. When you brake hard the wheel does flex slightly to one side . This does not affect direction .I won't be buying any other fork for some time as perfection is hard to beat !

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Great performance but poor reliability
These were the best performing fork DH fork I've used, having owned RS Boxxer Team, World Cups, 888RC2X and ridden other bikes with 2012 Fox 40s. Amazing plush performance of a 888 but the support and feel of a boxxer. Awesome looks and easy to setup. They make 40's feel rubbish.
Unfortunately had two warranty issues. I've never had so many issues with a single fork. Having experienced warranty issues over the years from FOX, RS and Marzocchi, I appreciate any product can fail but in the case of this fork, they spent more time in the workshop than on my bike. Unfortunately the downfall is the lack of comprehensive backup compared to other fork brands.

I,ve used this fork all year and with regular servicing it has only got better ,they are now super smooth and extremely adjustable for any terrain. The big issue i have though is the is literaly no parts back up in the uk this is very disappointing as they are trying to get back into the uk market.would buy fox or bos soley for this reason.

Always wanted some, so got a pair, look super moto, awesome setup out of the box, only ridden for two days so far, seal little noisey on first compression, but will hopefully settle down after some more rides, stickers on guards pulling up on edges, thinking about getting rid of all the stickers anyway going stealth mode, impressed ,never ridden inverted fork before, but i can notice that there is not as much weight down below, managed to rail some mean g out berms and lay it over lower than before, hope they go the distance!
