Manitou Mattoc Expert Forks 2014

The Mattoc is a nod to all the trailbuilders who make this sport possible, and Manitou set out to design a fork that is as exacting as it's namesake. They built it for riders who like to earn the right to use gravity. A fork that provides efficient pedaling and yet can handle any terrain you throw at it, making it an ideal platform for enduro riding.

Is it possible to run a 26 in a 27.5 fork ( I understand fork off-set & the possible handling diffeences ) from a setup & warranty standpoint. I understand there'd be a handling difference but I'm looking at using these forks on a current 26" bike temporarily before I upgrade to a 27.5 frame,

cheers!

Answer:
Yes; while there may be a slightly looser feel to the steering, it will still work ok mechanically. As it's only a temporary measure it's unlikely to cause any unexpected damage/ stress so it shouldn't cause any significant issues.
