RC3 EVO V2 - Our revolutionary RC3 EVO V.2 open bath cartridge with interchangeable compression shims allows you to custom-fit your fork exactly to your riding needs. V.2 Technology upgrades the EVO with a new rebound piston with bypass shims circuit. The result is higher adjustability range in rebound, more sensitivity and added effectiveness to the setting made to the compression side. Race proven.
Titanium Spring - Deep researches on springs and materials allowed us to build highly resistant springs with a really light weight. For example, the 888 RC3 EVO Titanium spring has a 50% lower weight if compared to any previous titanium version: the new spring only weighs 163 gr!
New Fitted & Slotted Bushing - New bushing design features vertical slot for oil fluid and lubrification; fitted design process forms itself to the internal casting machine seat. The goal is to have the best feeling, most supple feel between the stanchions and the casting.
Nickel coated tapered stanchions - All forks with nickel coated stanchions show a new superficial treatment and a new design. The new superficial treatment improves their smoothness and their resistance to the dirt encountered during every bike ride. The internal tapered profile design allows a consistent weight reduction in comparison with the previous MYs equivalent stanchions, without losing out on stiffness and resistance.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Vesko Amazing Price/Quality/Performance
Having been disenchanted with Rock Shox and poor quality, I went for these instead of the Pikes. Not the lightest, but oh dear are they good. I run a pair of 180 Fox Floats on my other bike and these forks feel much better by a long shot. Took a 1.5 rides to bed them in. I added very little air as I wasn't used to the sensitivity of the stroke.
The beginning stroke is supper plush for small bumps, but then the control just kicks in. The spring rate seams spot on and I use almost 0 pre-load or compression. The control you get from the fork is unmatched, you can tinker with it to set exactly like you want it and for an enduro fork, it inspires DH confidence.
Best price/performance for out there. Just live with the extra 200gr. It's worth it. On top of that, they look cool, which is the main box ticked ;-)
