Because of flexibility it can be easily wrapped around the bicycle frame to ride with it around. Soft sleeve protects bike from scratching.
I had a lock wrapped in some plastic cover, it cracked in pices when I used it in winter because of low temperature. This lock has cover made of some textil, it remains soft in cold, should be durable.

Antivol robuste, flexible.

I have just bought another of these locks. I have been using one for a couple of years in all weathers and it is still in use.
Please don't be put off by the common complaints ...
1# The lock jams & can't get key out. Yes from time to time I have had to jiggle the key to get it in/out but it has not caused me a problem. A squirt of oil every now and then helps keep the lock mechanism moving freely (as you'd expect to do for any any mechanical object that is subjected to the Brittish weather)
2) Too heavy to use as a commuter lock. Really? It is quite a heavy lock, but that is exactly what I want if I'm going to leave my bike unattended in public places. I'm not big and commute in a very hilly city, but I have no problem with the weight of this lock. Only buy a lighter lock if you want to increase the risk of having your bike stolen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Solution ! to the seizing up problem
I bought 4 of these and at first they worked fine. After a few weeks of regular use, they all started to seize up. This is a commonly described problem with these locks - see the many complaints on Amazon. It becomes very difficult to fully insert the key, and therefore impossible to fully engage the pins and turn the key to open the lock.
I seem to have solved the problem with mine. The keys have a very blunt, rectangular tip. I got a metal file and gently filed a bevel on 2 sides and 2 edges of the tip of the key. This helps the tip of the key slide into the final level in the lock and lets you open the lock again. I tested this with one key filed and another unfiled (as original), and the filed one definitely has more success. Still stiff, and needing a jiggle to fully engage, but usually success after a few seconds.
Otherwise, this is a very beefy, solid lock, about 900 grams. Heavy, but easy to wrap around handlebars and carry. I imagine it would take serious work with an angle grinder to defeat this lock.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Strong but...
The chain looks stiff and with a very detailed factory assembly! Security level 8/10 and 90cm long with 8mm thickness. You can lock your bike around a tree easily. But? its much more a motorbike chain. Too heavy for a daily rider. Almost 3,5kg. I got it in Red, nice color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Great lock, doesn't last
Had this lock twice and both times it started to seize up after a few months. Remedied somewhat by oil but is completely unopenable now. I leave my bike out a lot, obviously doesn't agree with the lock mechanism.
Otherwise very strong and sturdy.
