Rated 3 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent visual design. Strong and light. So been running this for a week now. Been commuting, on the trails and doing some jumps etc and so far so good. I'm a heavy set guy (100KG+) and this wheel has taken the force of my weight dropping from 4-5 feet in the air onto a flat hard surface and not even hinted at bending. So far there is no hint of the nipples splitting but i'm watching for that. I'm so happy with it i've recommend my riding partner get the Crossone Wheelset to upgrade the wheels on her new Ghost Miss 1200. 09 February 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by FELL APART After just a few weeks of xc and commuting to work each day The nipples started to split. The the wheel lost all tension and spokes started to loosen and the wheel came out of tru Quite a bit... But the icing on the cake was on a team ride back from Gower when the wheel collapsed Fair to say i have put this wheel through its paces but i did not expect it to go road riding i counted 17 split nipples that pulled clean out... One of the spokes ripped lean through the straight pull fitting damaging the hub irreparably. At 7 in the evening i had to strip what was left of the wheel and rebuild it in a very poorly lit area with some old nipples i was luckily able to borrow from a fellow rider. (worn as they were) they did the job of holding the wheel together to get me home the last 18 or so miles of the journey.. This back wheel is just simply not string enough and was built badly from the word go.. factory wheels... steer clear. The front on the other hand has been great..not a single issue.. (also a mavic crossone 15mm axle) i will put this failure down to stress from the drive side and a large rotor.... but it should be stronger as a rear wheel 06 November 2013

Answer:
The Crossone wheels run a multi-speed hub and can accept 8,9,10 or 11sp cassettes.
Mavic use their own freehub size, which is wider than a normal 8-10 speed one. This means all 8-10 speed cassettes need the Mavic spacer which is provided with the wheels, while the 11 speed Shimano cassettes don't need it.

Do all brake discs bolt on the same way? I have a Avid juicy 3 brake Hydraulic system, will the disc bolt straight into this wheel or do I need any adaptors?

Answer:
There are two main styles of disc mount; 6-bolt and Centrelock. These wheels run the standard 6-bolt rotor mount. Your Juicy brakes are likely running this same 6-bolt pattern on their rotors.

Yes; the Mavic freehub is wider than traditional freehubs, so they will accept 8,9,10 or 11 speed cassettes.
