This is a nice looking jacket with a good sporting cut and asymetric zip. The joins are all very well sealed and taped. Sleeves are a good length and there is plenty of pocket space at the back with a small phone pocket on the chest. The jacket beads water very well forming lots of tiny droplets which quickly roll off and it is excellent in the wind. There are zipped vents under the arm pits and above the cuffs. There is a fancy arrangement on the front which allows you to partially open the jacket to reveal a yellow mesh vent which is attached by a second zip. The zips generally feel robust apart from the one on the front mesh vent which is hard to attach and no doubt will break if I'm not very careful. The overall appearance is very attractive.
What the jacket lacks is good breathability. Despite having the vents open I get as wet inside from perspiration as from the rain which at this price was very disappointing. It also lacks decent reflective strips, twice within one week i was nearly taken off on the same roundabout by drivers who didn't see me when daylight was just starting to dim. I really like the dark graphite colour but I am going to have to wear a viz vest with it at dusk.
I am finding it chafes under the chin.
Maybe as we get into winter and temperatures drop overheating and perspiration will no longer be a problem.
