Rated 4 out of 5 by Chappy Very good except for the one design fault
Got the jacket & headed out next night after work. Winter in NZ so gets dark quickly & on the way back could see ice crystals forming once the drizzle (little less than rain) stopped so you'd have to say it was a good trial run for the jacket.
Sizing wise I got the XXL which is a size larger than my normal - its fine, little large but I can handle that in an MTB jacket - bit long in the sleeves and length in the tail is plenty long enough but not excessive so happy with that.
No worries keeping out the drizzle and with a hour 15 minute uphill no overheating problems which was pleasing. Got cold on the downhill BUT in fairness as I've said the temperature was dropping rapidly by then & it isn't meant to be a ski jacket ie heavily insulated against the cold, so I don't consider this a fault at all - I simply should have had another layer on & there was room for it, which is another positive.
SO what was the design fault - to be honest I can't really see the purpose of the zipped backpack extension for a hydration system - I don't mind my bladder getting a bit of dirt on it (well more mud than dirt) - it's only the mouth piece I'd prefer to be kept clean.
What that leads to is that the zips for the 'backpack' extension restrict its ability to be rolled up tight enough to fit in a rear jersey pocket till needed on those 'do I take it or not' rides. Without that 'feature' I would have been tempted to give it an excellent all round - not sure it would have got one but I would have been tempted!!

Good looking waterproof. I haven't used it in any major downpours but the quality is there, fully taped seams, weatherproof cuffs etc. maybe a bit on the small side, especially if you use armour.
