Answer:
The shoes are MTB (SPD) shoes and are only compatible with MTB cleats and pedals.
The SH51 cleats will fit but the A520 pedals are road pedals so they won't work.
All the MTB pedals you can find on the link below:

Answer:
You can use any shoe for spin classes as long as the shoe matches the pedals.

You would be best to contact the gym or trainer and ask what kind of pedals they are using.

US Women's Size 8 - Mavic EU size?

My wife has narrow feet and typically wears US Women's size 8. Would the EU40 be the best fit for her in the Mavic?

We would like to know before we purchase her these shoes.

Thanks!

Answer:
When buying a brand such as Mavic it is usually recommended to purchase the next size up from yuor normal shoe size, in this case a EU 41.
If she has as narrow feet as you say, she may be able to get away with her normal size, but I'd say for the next size to be safe.
